Safari — Tanzania
Embark on an unforgettable journey full of adventure with Tuk Tuk in the Kilimanjaro region, known as one of Tanzaniaโs major coffee-producing hubs. It is also the gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africaโs highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. This safari package offers a blend of cultural immersion, nature exploration, and thrilling safari drives.

Day by Day
Arrive in the morning at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi for check-in. Later, you will be picked up by our historical safari guide for a town tour, where you will visit local markets, old churches, and colonial graveyards. After an adventurous day, you will head back to your hotel for an overnight stay, a hot shower, and meals.
After breakfast, you will be picked up by our historical safari guide with a Tuk Tuk and driven to Materuni.
Here, you will visit a coffee plantation and learn about its production. Enjoy the stunning Materuni Waterfall and local lunch. You’ll learn everything about how Arabica coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed.
Together, we will pound the coffee beans to remove them from their shells, roast them, grind them, and finally enjoy a cup of homemade coffee!
Depending on the weather, you will also get to enjoy the sight of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will hike to Materuni Waterfall, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and the reward of the waterfall at the end.
There is also the option to swim at the waterfall. After a long day of excitement, you will head back to your hotel for an overnight stay and meals.
Enjoy a healthy breakfast before transferring back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.

The best time for this safari is during the dry seasons from June to October and January to February. These periods offer more favorable conditions for trekking and wildlife viewing.
