People always ask about timing, and for good reason. Here’s what we recommend:

It’s dry, it’s crisp, and the animals are hungry, so they’re more likely to be active. Expect the classic safari scenes that people put on postcards, but don’t be surprised if it gets a little crowded. This season is the most popular, so make sure to book in advance.

January to February is known as the quieter season. It’s still warm, offers fantastic views, and sightings. Plus, there’s a better chance of catching an animal off guard due to the lower crowd density.
